وكذالك نصرف الايات وليقولوا درست ولنبينه لقوم يعلمون ١٠٥
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُوا۟ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ ١٠٥
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
نُصَرِّفُ
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
وَلِيَقُولُواْ
دَرَسۡتَ
وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ
لِقَوۡمٖ
يَعۡلَمُونَ
١٠٥
En zo leggen Wij de Tekenen uit opdat zij zeggen: "Jij hebt (dit van iemand) geleerd." En opdat Wij liet verduidelijken aan een volk dat weet.

“You have read”
This (form I verb) conveys their accusation that the Prophet (ﷺ) had read the scriptures, i.e. studied them himself.

This (form III verb) is similar, but implies that the Prophet (ﷺ) had engaged in study with others.
دَرَسَتْ
darasat
“These (revealed signs) are outdated”
This reading is based on a less common sense of the root d-r-s, and the verb is ascribed to the 'signs' (āyāt) mentioned just before.
