Voorwaar, degenen die het geloof voor ongeloof verruild hebben. zij brengen Allah in niets schade tot en voor hen is er een pijnlijke bestraffing.

ثم قال تعالى مخبرا عن ذلك إخبارا مقررا : ( إن الذين اشتروا الكفر بالإيمان ) أي : استبدلوا هذا بهذا ( لن يضروا الله شيئا ) أي : ولكن يضرون أنفسهم ( ولهم عذاب أليم ) .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
