Se per castigo li avessimo fatti perire prima della sua venuta 1 , avrebbero certamente detto: «O Signor nostro, perché non ci hai inviato un messaggero? Avremmo seguito i Tuoi segni, prima di essere umiliati e coperti di abominio».

আর যদি আমরা তাদেরকে ইতোপূর্বে শাস্তি দ্বারা ধ্বংস করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, ‘হে আমাদের রব! আপনি আমাদের কাছে কোন রাসূল পাঠালেন না কেন? পাঠালে আমরা লাঞ্চিত ও অপমানিত হওয়ার আগে আপনার নিদর্শনাবলী অনুসরণ করতাম।’
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
