Jika engkau (Muhammad) sangat mengharapkan agar mereka mendapat petunjuk, maka sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan memberi petunjuk kepada orang yang disesatkan-Nya, dan mereka tidak mempunyai penolong.

This verb is interpreted to have the same intrasitive meaning as form VIII, i.e. to walk on the right path. It can also be understood in its more common, transitive meaning 'to guide' in the sense of overruling their chosen misguidance.
