اتبعوا ما انزل اليكم من ربكم ولا تتبعوا من دونه اولياء قليلا ما تذكرون ٣

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٣

إِلَيۡكُم

مِّن

رَّبِّكُمۡ

وَلَا

تَتَّبِعُواْ

مِن

دُونِهِۦٓ

أَوۡلِيَآءَۗ

قَلِيلٗا

مَّا

تَذَكَّرُونَ

[Oh, creyentes] Sigan lo que les ha sido revelado por su Señor, y no sigan fuera de Él a ningún aliado-protector. ¡Qué poco reflexionan!

In both these readings, the verb (form V imperfect) is conjugated for the second person plural like the start of the verse.

يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

“Little do they take heed”

In this reading, the verb is conjugated for the third person plural, so the Prophet (ﷺ) is informed that few will heed his message.
