Whenever We sent a prophet to a society, We afflicted its ˹disbelieving˺ people with suffering and adversity, so perhaps they would be humbled.

Na hatukumtuma Nabii kwenye kijiji chochote kuwalingania watu wake kumuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu na kuwakataza ushirikina ambao wanao, kisha wakamkanusha, isipokuwa tuliwapa mtihani wa shida na mikasa, tukawatia kwenye miili yao magonjwa na ndwele, na katika mali yao ufukara na uhitaji, kwa matumaini kwamba wanyenyekee, waelekee kwa Mwenyezi mungu na warudi kwenye haki.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
