He turned away from them, saying, “O my people! Indeed, I have delivered to you the messages of my Lord and gave you ˹sincere˺ advice. How can I then grieve for those who chose to disbelieve?”

Shu'ayb alijiepusha na wao, alipokuwa na yakini kwamba adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni yenye kuwashukia, na akasema, «Enyi watu wangu, ‘Nimewafikishia ujumbe wa Mola wangu na nimewashauri muingie kwenye Dini ya Mwenyezi Mungu na muache hayo mliyonayo; hamkusikia wala hamkutii. Vipi mimi niwasikitikie watu walioukataa upweke wa Mwenyezi Mungu na wakawakanusha Mitume Wake?’»
