Had Allah not decreed exile for them, He would have certainly punished them in this world. And in the Hereafter they will suffer the punishment of the Fire.

﴿وَلَوۡلَاۤ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ﴾ قَضَى ﴿عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَاۤءَ﴾ الْخُرُوج مِنْ الْوَطَن ﴿لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ﴾ بِالْقَتْلِ والسبي كما فعل بقريظة من اليهود ﴿وَلَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ ٣﴾
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
