يوصيكم الله في اولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الانثيين فان كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وان كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولابويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك ان كان له ولد فان لم يكن له ولد وورثه ابواه فلامه الثلث فان كان له اخوة فلامه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها او دين اباوكم وابناوكم لا تدرون ايهم اقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله ان الله كان عليما حكيما ١١

يُوصِيكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِىٓ أَوْلَـٰدِكُمْ ۖ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ ۚ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَآءًۭ فَوْقَ ٱثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ ۖ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَلَهَا ٱلنِّصْفُ ۚ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَٰحِدٍۢ مِّنْهُمَا ٱلسُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌۭ ۚ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلَدٌۭ وَوَرِثَهُۥٓ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ ٱلثُّلُثُ ۚ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُۥٓ إِخْوَةٌۭ فَلِأُمِّهِ ٱلسُّدُسُ ۚ مِنۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍۢ يُوصِى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعًۭا ۚ فَرِيضَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا ١١

يُوصِيكُمُ

ٱللَّهُ

فِيٓ

أَوۡلَٰدِكُمۡۖ

لِلذَّكَرِ

مِثۡلُ

حَظِّ

ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۚ

فَإِن

كُنَّ

نِسَآءٗ

فَوۡقَ

ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ

فَلَهُنَّ

ثُلُثَا

مَا

تَرَكَۖ

وَإِن

كَانَتۡ

وَٰحِدَةٗ

فَلَهَا

ٱلنِّصۡفُۚ

وَلِأَبَوَيۡهِ

لِكُلِّ

وَٰحِدٖ

مِّنۡهُمَا

ٱلسُّدُسُ

مِمَّا

تَرَكَ

إِن

كَانَ

لَهُۥ

وَلَدٞۚ

فَإِن

لَّمۡ

يَكُن

لَّهُۥ

وَلَدٞ

وَوَرِثَهُۥٓ

أَبَوَاهُ

فَلِأُمِّهِ

ٱلثُّلُثُۚ

فَإِن

كَانَ

لَهُۥٓ

إِخۡوَةٞ

فَلِأُمِّهِ

ٱلسُّدُسُۚ

مِنۢ

بَعۡدِ

وَصِيَّةٖ

يُوصِي

بِهَآ

أَوۡ

دَيۡنٍۗ

ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ

وَأَبۡنَآؤُكُمۡ

لَا

تَدۡرُونَ

أَيُّهُمۡ

أَقۡرَبُ

لَكُمۡ

نَفۡعٗاۚ

فَرِيضَةٗ

مِّنَ

ٱللَّهِۗ

إِنَّ

ٱللَّهَ

كَانَ

عَلِيمًا

حَكِيمٗا

Allah commands you regarding your children: the share of the male will be twice that of the female.¹ If you leave only two ˹or more˺ females, their share is two-thirds of the estate. But if there is only one female, her share will be one-half. Each parent is entitled to one-sixth if you leave offspring.² But if you are childless and your parents are the only heirs, then your mother will receive one-third.³ But if you leave siblings, then your mother will receive one-sixth⁴—after the fulfilment of bequests and debts.⁵ ˹Be fair to˺ your parents and children, as you do not ˹fully˺ know who is more beneficial to you.⁶ ˹This is˺ an obligation from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Sahih al-Bukhari 4577

Narrated Jabir:

The Prophet (ﷺ) and Abu Bakr came on foot to pay me a visit (during my illness) at Banu Salama's (dwellings). The Prophet (ﷺ) found me unconscious, so he asked for water and performed the ablution from it and sprinkled some water over it. I came to my senses and said, "O Allah's Messenger! What do you order me to do as regards my wealth?" So there was revealed:-- "Allah commands you as regards your children's (inheritance):" (4.11)

Sahih Muslim 1616b

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and Abi Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) visited me on foot in Banu Salama, and found me unconscious. He (the Holy Prophet) called for water and performed ablution and sprinkled out of it (the water) over me. I felt relieved. I said: Allah's Messenger, what should I do with my property? And this verse was revealed:" Allah enjoins you concerning your children: for the male is equal of the portion of two females."

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
