There they will never taste death, beyond the first death. And He will protect them from the punishment of the Hellfire—

﴿لَا یَذُوقُونَ فِیهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ﴾ أَيْ الَّتِي فِي الدُّنْيَا بَعْد حَيَاتهمْ فِيهَا قال بعضهم إلا بمعنى بعد ﴿وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ٥٦﴾
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
