Similarly, whenever We sent a warner to a society before you ˹O Prophet˺, its ˹spoiled˺ elite would say, “We found our forefathers following a ˹particular˺ way, and we are walking in their footsteps.”

আর এভাবেই আপনার পূর্বে কোন জনপদে যখনই আমরা কোন সতর্ককারী পাঠিয়েছি তখনই তার বিলাসপ্রিয়রা বলেছে, ‘নিশ্চয় আমারা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে এক মতাদর্শে পেয়েছি এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে থাকব।’
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
