So the evil ˹consequences˺ of their deeds overtook them. And the wrongdoers among these ˹pagans˺ will be overtaken by the evil ˹consequences˺ of their deeds. And they will have no escape.

Yakawapata wale waliyosema kauli hii, miongoni mwa ummah waliopita, mateso ya matendo mabaya waliyoyachuma, hivyo basi wakaharakishiwa laana katika maisha ya duniani. Na wale waliojidhulumu nafsi zao katika watu wako, ewe Mtume, na wakasema kauli hii, yatawapata mateso ya yale mabaya waliyoyachuma kama yaliyowapata waliokuwa kabla yao, na hawakuwa wao ni wenye kumponyoka Mwenyezi Mungu wala kumshinda.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
