They made for him whatever he desired of sanctuaries, statues,1 basins as large as reservoirs, and cooking pots fixed ˹into the ground˺. ˹We ordered:˺ “Work gratefully, O family of David!” ˹Only˺ a few of My servants are ˹truly˺ grateful.

Majini wanamfanyia Sulaymān anachotaka miongoni mwa misikiti ya ibada, picha za shaba na ukoa, madishi makubwa kama mabirika ya kukusanyika maji ndani yake na vyungu vilivyojikita visivyotikisika kutoka mahali pake kwa ukubwa wake, na tukasema, «Enyi jamii ya Dāwūd! Fanyeni kwa kumshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kile Alichowapa, kwa kumtii na kufuata amri Yake.» Na ni wachache, miongoni mwa waja wangu, wenye kumshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kwa wingi. Na Dāwūd, yeye na jamii yake, alikuwa miongoni mwa hao wachache.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
