O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them,1 they will have no waiting period for you to count,2 so give them a ˹suitable˺ compensation, and let them go graciously.

হে ঈমানদারগণ! যখন তোমরা মুমিন নারীদেরকে বিয়ে করবে, তারপর তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করার আগে তালাক দিবে, তখন তোমাদের জন্য তাদের পালনীয় কোন 'ইদ্দত নেই যা তোমরা গুণবে। সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে কিছু সামগ্ৰী দেবে এবং সৌজন্যের সাথে তাদেরকে বিদায় করবে।
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
