When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” ˹Would they still do so˺ even if Satan is inviting them to the torment of the Blaze?

Na wakiambiwa hawa wenye kufanya ushindani juu ya kumuwahidisha Mwenyezi Mungu na kumpwekesha kwa ibada, «Fuateni yale Ailiyoyateremsha Mwenyezi Mungu kwa Nabii Wake Muhammad, rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na amani zimshukie,» wanasema, «Bali tutafuata yale tuliyowapata wazazi wetu wako nayo ya ushirikina na kuabudu masanamu.» Je, wanafanya hayo hata kama Shetani anawaita wao, kwa kuwapambia wao matendo yao mabaya na ukanushaji wao Mwenyezi Mungu, kwenye adhabu ya Moto unaowaka?
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
