والذين يتوفون منكم ويذرون ازواجا وصية لازواجهم متاعا الى الحول غير اخراج فان خرجن فلا جناح عليكم في ما فعلن في انفسهن من معروف والله عزيز حكيم ٢٤٠
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَصِيَّةًۭ لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم مَّتَـٰعًا إِلَى ٱلْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍۢ ۚ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى مَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍۢ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ ٢٤٠
Explanation:
These two readings provide the same meaning, the first (accusative) by means of an implied verb, and the second (nominative) as the subject with implied predicate. The ruling in this verse is widely considered to be abrogated by 2:234 and 4:12.
