۞ وان تعجب فعجب قولهم ااذا كنا ترابا اانا لفي خلق جديد اولايك الذين كفروا بربهم واولايك الاغلال في اعناقهم واولايك اصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون ٥
۞ وَإِن تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌۭ قَوْلُهُمْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَغْلَـٰلُ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ٥
Explanation:
These readings convey the same meaning in slightly different ways. The first has two clauses, each with the interrogative hamzah: one reinforces the other. The second reading has the hamzah in the former position only, and the third has it in the latter [al-Mahdawi].
